Our History
Blue Horse Saddlery originally opened its doors in 1979 as 'The Tiedown Saddlery' at 239 State Street. Tiedown
successfully served the needs of both Western and English riders for 21 years.
 In 2000 Tiedown changed hands for the first time and transitioned to an English only focus, and the name eventually changed to Blue Horse Saddlery. Then in 2009 Blue Horse Saddlery was sold again and moved to its current location at 169 Main Street in downtown Los Altos. Blue Horse continues in the tradition of friendly personal service our customers have come to depend on at Blue Horse Saddlery. |
